Lockton Brand Work

My time at Lockton was all about bringing cohesion, minor improvements and new tools to a 2019 rebrand. I created and maintained several templates which sped up workflow for designers and offered a range of layouts and formats, including Word, PowerPoint, Illustrator, Indesign, and Canva. These were distributed to regional creative teams across the U.S. and directly to marketing teams to allow non-creatives to produce on the fly.

Social Media Templates

Lockton already had pretty extensive brand resources but not in the areas of social media or internal comms. I developed social media templates to solve for this.

Logo Improvements

After reviewing their logo’s performance across different media, I noticed there were a couple areas of potential distortion. The logo had previously been two-color, and created as two separate shapes. When it was recolored to black, the shapes had not merged and, in certain files, a small gap was present. While barely visible, brands need to be as solid and consistent as possible. So we unified the shapes and worked with regional and international teams to flip the logo files.

The second issue was that our logo was not always appearing as crisp as it could be online. To solve for this, we developed svg files, which were not previously in the logo package and released and recommended those for online use.
